CHF recently awarded four Clinician-Scientist Fellowships supporting new researchers studying cancer, placental dysfunction, chronic enteropathy, and urinary tract infections. We look forward to these promising scientists’ impact on canine health.
In January, we celebrated One Health – a concept highlighting the connection between animal, human, and environmental health. To promote One Health, CHF recognizes and supports research that improves the health of dogs while simultaneously advancing knowledge for human medicine.
CHF staff are on the road – making connections with dog lovers, researchers, and everyone involved in canine health. This month, CHF staff attended AKC’s Meet the Breeds in New York City to share our important mission with the city’s many dog lovers.
Established in 1995, the AKC Canine Health Foundation's (CHF) mission is to advance the health of all dogs and their owners by funding scientific research and supporting the dissemination of health information to prevent, treat and cure canine disease.
