2023 National Parent Club Canine Health Conference

The AKC Canine Health Foundation held its biennial Parent Club Canine Health Conference on August 11-13. Attendees in St. Louis, Missouri and virtual attendees enjoyed hearing the latest research outcomes from CHF-funded investigators. Thanks to Purina, the American Kennel Club, and the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for sponsoring this amazing event.

The AKC Canine Health Foundation presented the 2023 Asa Mays, DVM Excellence in Canine Health Research Award to Dr. Gary Johnson, a genetics researcher from the University of Missouri.

CHF staff are on the road – making connections with dog lovers, researchers, and everyone involved in canine health. This month, CHF staff attended and gave presentations at the Carolina Husky Club dog show and the Great American Dog Show in Chicago, IL.
