Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States (RRCUS) (via its RRDAF and Nancy Krupa Fund), and the Rhodesian Ridgeback Charitable Foundation (RRCF), $60,000 has been raised to support CHF-funded canine cancer research. RRCUS and RRCF matched $30,000 in gifts received during October and November as part of a three-year, $90,000 pledge.
Thanks also to the American Boxer Charitable Foundation (ABCF) for matching all donations in support of CHF-funded cancer research on Giving Tuesday (November 29). Our donors are amazing!
CHF staff are on the road – making connections with dog lovers, researchers, and everyone involved in canine health. This month, CHF attended the North Carolina Veterinary Conference, the National Retriever Championship, the National Dog Show hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, and an event at the Museum of the Dog.
There is still time to purchase tickets for Canines & Cocktails - the AKC Canine Health Foundation’s largest fundraising event held in conjunction with the AKC National Championship dog show.
Join us Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, FL. You can purchase tickets online until Sunday, December 11. Tickets will also be available at the CHF booth in the Convention Center and at the start of the event.
Established in 1995, the AKC Canine Health Foundation's (CHF) mission is to advance the health of all dogs and their owners by funding scientific research and supporting the dissemination of health information to prevent, treat and cure canine disease.
