Our long-time partner the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) has given a generous donation to CHF. The gift will extend OFA’s support of educational grants through CHF’s Clinician-Scientist Fellowship Program and will help fund research into genetic mutations that affect a dog’s ability to break down commonly used anesthetic and chemotherapy drugs.
Thanks to those who participated in the Purina Parent Club Partnership Program during 2021, Purina recently donated $99,230 to breed club Donor Advised Funds held at CHF.
CHF staff are on the road – making connections with students, dog lovers, researchers and everyone involved in canine health. In March, the team attended the Student American Veterinary Medical Association Symposium in Minnesota and the Tarheel Cluster in our hometown of Raleigh, NC.
