The Kennel Club of Philadelphia, host of the National Dog Show each year on Thanksgiving Day, has generously donated $100,000 to support canine health research through CHF.
Whether competing in an event or playing in the backyard, keeping your dog active and healthy is important to you. CHF is currently requesting new research proposals addressing canine sports medicine. Plus, an anonymous donor is matching all donations to CHF’s Musculoskeletal Conditions and Disease Research Program Area, up to $25,000.
Established in 1995, the AKC Canine Health Foundation's (CHF) mission is to advance the health of all dogs and their owners by funding scientific research and supporting the dissemination of health information to prevent, treat and cure canine disease.
