CHF has issued a request for research proposals that address canine periodontal and dental disease. The Foundation is committed to understanding factors that influence the development of periodontal disease and dental disease, in general, and ultimately providing veterinarians and dog owners with the resources necessary for better canine dental health.
Established in 1995, the AKC Canine Health Foundation's (CHF) mission is to advance the health of all dogs and their owners by funding scientific research and supporting the dissemination of health information to prevent, treat and cure canine disease.
